The Munchkin's been playing with some stuffed bears lately, to the exclusion of sanity it seems.
M: screechy roar
all three parents: some variant of that's too loud
M: But it wasn't me! My bears wanted to screech like that!
pezchica: But was that your inside voice, or your outside voice?
M: But it wasn't me! It was the bear! pause Bear, was that your inside voice or your outside voice?

scubajim's hops, with the insane amount of rain this summer, have grown up the side of the house, curled over, and are growing downwards. The string snapped last night and they were instead in a big pile on the porch.
scubajim: Sh*t.
M: What? (I thought it was impressive that M knows that word means there's something wrong)
