mod is short for modernist
okay so im a mod now. i know, its great, all my hardcore friends hate me now but whatever i look hella hot. and by the way, its not JUST biscuits fault im a mod, i read into it, like the history or whatever, and its actually incredibly interesting and about similar as the "punk" lifestyle (not the one that has had the definition fucked over by scene kids for decades), because its pretty much based off an idea that lifes too short to waste so live it fast and live it hard, except mods dont spend hundreds of dollars trying to look like bums, they spend hundreds of dollars trying to look good, wich is a lot more understandable. another thing that bothers me about peoples prespective on mods, is that all the "punkers" that talk shit on mods only know mods from SLC punk, they dont know any history behind the whole thing. anyway...... im having band practice with a bunch of mod haters and boot boys (boot boys are skinheads). this should be interesting...
