done with school!
I graduated yesterday...4 years went by really fast! It's going to be really weird not going back to PSU ever..
There was a design show at the ohm tonight that i wanted to go to, but by the time i was going to head over it had been going on for 2 1/2 hours and i figured it would be lame to go alone...even though i'd know most of the people putting on the show. since i won't have night classes anymore, i'm going to try hard to go to more networking events and hang out with more people.
i got some good stuff for graduation. about $350 in money/gift cards, a bunch in savings bonds that i want to re-invest in something, a few bottles of wine and a southern oregon food gift basket, a paper weight that's a big diamond, a cup/saucer set, and a really awesome 10.1mp digital slr camera! i took some pictures of the chickens and flowers tonight, and it looks like it's going to take awesome pictures. i can't wait to play around more with it during the day/nice weather! my goal is to re-shoot my entire portfolio and re-print it after the workshop i go to.
i got my cell phone back (i lost my replacement phone, but it was returned to me), so i can be called again. i still don't have all of my old numbers programed in since my last phone was stolen, so if any of you call, leave a message telling me who it is.
we're hiring a new intern at work, so i won't have to answer phones anymore!!!!! i am SO glad about this. hopefully the new girl/guy is cool. it will be nice having someone closer to my age there.
i'm gonna go try and clean a bit more before i go to bed...my house is trashed..
