cocorosie was probably the best show i've been to since sigur ros at the schnitz. it made me REALLY wish that i would have been able to get into their doug fir show a few months ago though. that show would have kicked ass. the bad thing about the show last night was that the crowd was so talkative. everyone towards the back of the place was super loud the whole time, which was annoying for the softer-more opera-y parts.
their set kicked ass though and the beat boxer (tez, the opening act) was awesome. i ordered their cd last night off of amazon, so i'm excited to listen to that when it comes.
my myspace page comes up on the first page of google results when you search for magneto. my boss told me about that just now when i got here. kind of embarrassing, and i don't know if i want people searching for our business to come across my page as one of the search results. i may just write magneto instead of the entire name. plus, my page is at a really weird transition stage right now and still has parts from my "gangster" page in it.
it was nice when i left home today, so i didn't bring my rain coat, but now it's pouring. figures.
