I wrote this really long bullshit philosophical entry about how that statement is both true and false. But I just erased it all because ultimately it would take volumes upon volumes to analyze it completely. Same goes for "Nothing is real," and "Guilt destroys."
Cable tv. You've got 500 channels and still nothing is ever on.
I was at Starbucks today and there was this group of high school kids just sitting and talking about something - I'm not exactly sure what it was, but I do remember one of the guys saying, "If there is a God, or a Jesus, or whatever, he really sucks." And then an old man who was just sitting there by himself, drinking his coffee, looked up at them and said, "Well maybe you just expect more out of him than you should." After ripping the old folks yesterday, I will admit they are wise.
