There Beneath the Blue Suburban Skies
I slept through the blackout today. It's not too surprising since I slept through all the baby earthquakes we had back in June. I always miss out on the L.A. catastrophes.
17 more days until classes start. I don't really know why I'm so excited. Yes I miss college but I know once the quarter starts I'll just fall back into my routine of missing class and sleeping in. And now that I live off campus, I'll actually have to deal with UCLA parking which will give me yet another reason not to go to class. They should just market college as being the four laziest years of your life.
I didn't watch any of the John Roberts confirmation hearings today but I did hear they were as BLAH as advertised. Chief Justice John Roberts - it just doesn't sound right but neither did Chief Justice William Rehnquist.
I found 86 pennies in my car. There were only a couple of quarters, dimes, and nickels, but at least now I know I'm loaded when it comes to pennies.
In a related tidbit, "Penny Lane" is a great song. And in a controversial Beatles tidbit - McCartney > Lennon.
The voices in my head are telling me to stop now but I'll be back tomorrow. Until then, don't do anything I WOULD do.
