The plot is well thought out, and it highlights how good they are together (and how bad Clark and Lana are for their self-esteem). The quarterback and the reporter are at their tetchy best bantering and falling in love.

Why I fangirl this: Hands down, this is my official Season 8. tanith75 uses script style to make her episodes feel more authentic, and she manages to capture the humor of the show perfectly. Most importantly, Jackie and Hyde get the chance to grow into their relationship and eventually attain a happily-ever-after.

The show's writers enjoyed tormenting fans (me) for the longest time by keeping them apart; TheMusicLives brings them together sooner and allows them to navigate the obstacles as a couple. A very satisfying AU.

In-character threesomes are hard to find, but everything is pitch perfect here.
