a little gift
i was walking out of the apartment today and looked in my mail box, and loan and behold there was a book in there, not mailed, not in a package, just curled up in my mail box. it is kafka was the rage: a grenwich village memoir a book on my amizon wish list (must remember to take it off now).
there is a note atached to it saying "a little elf told us you like kafka. Happy holidays!" that elf bigging the monster we call the internet i am sure.
so this could only be one of my neighbors, only 4 other units in the building so not to many opptions, and only one of them have a couple, so i am gunning that it is them, they just moved in a few months ago, and i think they are artist, makes perfect sense, plus the note was tapped on has animal hair on the tap, looks like cat hair to me and they have a cat. who knows for sure, i will leave a note in the hall thanking the gift giver.
