I'm just never going to understand Techno

Originally uploaded by MariannaS. My neighbors listen to it from about 11 pm to about 3 am. Usually I'm asleep by the time they start, so it doesn't bother me, but if I'm in the living room doing something, it annoys me.

I just don't understand how you can sit and listen to techno for 4 hours nearly every night. I understand how you can dance to it, but sit, and listen? Surely they must be on drugs. I really don't have anything against soft drugs except in my experience it's the most boring unexciting sort of people who use them with any frequency. I guess it's how they make up for their own lack of spark. I feel the same way about alcohol abuse too.

Now, almost recovered from the mystery illness that made my intestines mutiny against the rest of me - except for the occasional stomach cramp, I wonder if I should go into work tomorrow or take it easy and work from home.

I have decided that I like ducks and geese.
