Updates!
So yeah, it's been a while since I posted here and now it's time to fill you all in.
First, Grandpa's doing alright, although he still doesn't have much use of his left arm and is stuck in a wheelchair. Grandma moved a couple weekends ago into the nursing home right next door to Birchhaven where he's does his physical therapy and such. Susan, Mark & Gina and Aunt Mimi all came to help move and we all had a good time. My nephew actually recognized me when I came in and did a full on run over to me, it was the most awesome run ever!
Job is going well, and the appartment's alright.
It's wedding season so I don't have too many weekends free, but that's not a bad thing. I'm really glad I'm not in any this year, not that I don't love being in weddings, it's just an added stress that I'm not missing.
And now for the reason I may have not been around as much of late...
There are few things that can compare to driving along a highway in a Jeep with the top down by a river at night w/ a bright half moon and Metallica's Master of Puppets playing. My girlfriend is one of these things :) She's fun and cute and laughs at my jokes, is a blast to hang out with and I'm am the happiest boy on the planet when I'm with her :)
My sister finally got a divorce, her husband had been cheating on her and she found out. Hell hath no fury, but they're both better now that it's disolved and that's good for Carter I guess. He turned two this past weekend, Jerrod's Mom & step dad got him a big plastic truck (Not Tonka, but who's counting) and he loved running with it up and down the yard. Miranda and I got him a Tonka Front-End Loader and two little cardboard books about tractors and loaders (they even had wheels) C-man is really into cars, it's cool, definately related to me and dad.
We started watching Heroes the other night, watching the first episode and then while I was out mowing she started watching the second (I've already seen 1-7) :) Great series and if you haven't seen it I highly advise doing your best to watch it from the beginning. I haven't said this about many things, I think Firefly was the last one and we all know how good that is.
