It always happens on a rainy day.

It always happens on a rainy day. No, not just 'rainy'. The absolute pouring kind of 'rainy'. The thunderstorm warning kind of rainy. Skandar's learned not to expect to see William on sunny days, because-well, then it would just be too easy, wouldn't it?
No, William has to show up on days that they can't go outside, and Skandar has no choice but to allow him into his house, where he really doesn't trust himself not to jump Will.
William plagues him with his girlfriend (occasionally boyfriend) woes, and Skandar nods, pretending to listen and acting like he hasn't heard this same speech over and over.
William leaves when the tea is cold and the rain has let up enough for him to make a dash for his car; but not before Skandar has a chance to tell him that it'll be okay.
Skandar really does believe that. He thinks it will be okay, because maybe one day William will realize that they're supposed to be together and the sun will shine again.
Skandar thinks he's pretty far in love when he starts thinking like a cheesy romance novel, and shuts the door behind William.
