I was so surprised to see this posted right after I commented on the earlier chapter. My wish was granted with the two meeting, and I so agree with lucsmum. This is lovely.

You ask for Reid, I give you Reid. I aim to please! ;) Actually, I decided to post this chapter a bit early since I felt like the plot really starts to kick in with this one.
Thank you!

I do so love Luke rescuing Reid; it's not too often we see Reid in trouble like this.

Loved it!

Thank you! I wanted the guys to be drawn to each other pretty quickly, and I couldn't possibly have made Luke the victim after all the other crap I've put him through. Soooo, voila, Luke got to be a hero, and Reid can now be super-appreciative.

I agree with Sleeper. It's such a nice change for Luke to "rescue" Reid from a big bad wolf. I can already tell I'm going to love this. Your writing is divine.

Thank you! I love the word "divine"--makes me feel all sorts of good. I think Luke makes a good hero every now and then.

Hi Petunia
I am loving this story. Love the song that was playing, and the whole Luke rescuing Reid. Luke is smitten. Well done.

Thank you! I love that song, too. It's been kind of a treat looking up songs written in the 20s and figuring what might go well with the boys.
