A scene from the next important part?
So, scenes from the Important Parts universe continue on. Think of them as extended "Scenes from the next As the World Turns." I'm including the snippet I wrote at the end of the Perfect Boyfriend because the next scene is related to it.

*The sound of a loud crash fills the air. Luke and Reid look over to see a prison van has crashed into Emma's front porch. Shackled
prisoners are pouring out.
Luke: Oh, my God! That's Damian! And Eve Coleman Browning! Is that Kirk Anderson? And Ralph Manzo?
Reid: Why did I ever come here?
Luke: There's Colonel Mayer, too! We have to go help the people at the party!
Reid: Why?
Luke: Reid! My mom is in there.
Reid: My point, exactly.
Luke: I'm going in there.
Reid (sighs): Fine. The sword is still in my backseat. Let's go get it before we ride to the ridiculous rescue.

*In Emma's kitchen, Damian has a gun pointed at Luke who has his hands in the air. The sounds of screams and shouts can be heard coming from other rooms.
Damian: Col. Mayer orchestrated this little stunt thinking I might want revenge on my son.
Luke: Revenge for what?
Damian: For choosing your stepfather over me. For discovering evidence that I was alive.
*Luke nods and looks over Damian's shoulder. A gun-holding Col. Mayer walks into the room.
Col. Mayer: Ah, Damian. You've found him. Shall you do the honors, or shall I?
Damian: Me, definitely, Col. Mayer.
Luke: Damian!
*Damian turns and shoots Col. Mayer in the chest. Luke's mouth is hanging open.
Damian: That man was an idiot.
*Damian starts backing out of the room.
Damian: Luciano, I'm sure I will see you sometime. I love you.

*Meanwhile, on Emma's front porch, Reid jumps on top of a clueless Noah with bullets flying by. When the coast is clear, they start to get up, but Noah stops Reid.
Noah: Dr. Oliver, you're not in love with me, are you?
Reid: What?
Noah: Well, you got your memory back when you spoke to me and now you've saved my life.
Reid:Holy mother of--- That's what you--- You are the most---Argh. Where the hell did the merry band of escaped prisoners go?
Noah: Reid, I just want you to know that I don't feel that way about you. You're with Luke, and I couldn't do that to him.
Reid: Ugh, bring back the felons. I think I'd prefer their company.
Okay, so fun idea or waste of time?
