   ouch. why did i say this is an interest. it's definitely a hobby. just put on the song 'hurt' and i'll show you exactly what it's like to BE TRENT REZNOR.
4. full metal jacket:
   it's stanley kubrick, it's about 'nam. excellent film. second only to '2001 a space odyssey', which strangely made me cry at the end.
5. good haircuts:
   self explanatory. ever since i was 2 i wanted to cut hair. guess it never panned out. but i do appreciate a great cut and color job.
6. lou reed:
   oh yes. this man is my hero. he does for me what jesus does for republicans.
7. new order:
   the only band i can listen to while busting my ass on the elliptical machine at the gym. it's just not a workout without the super duper long dance mix of 'bizarre love triangle', the eight minute epic 'blue monday', and ever inspiring 'world in motion'.
8. placebo:
   gotta love sugar pills. yeah, because i work in a pharmaceutical lab, i love when they give test subjects placebos. it means less work for me. but seriously dudes, this is yet another sad brit band reference. good band. remember, a friend in need is a friend indeed....
9. rufus wainwright:
   fab-u-lous singer songwriter.
10. the charlatans:
    in the endless parade of brit bands that i love, these stand out for making quality rock, pop and even dance songs. check out 'you're so pretty'. super fantastic!
