Current Boring Events
So I finally got my fingerprints done yesterday and sometime today I'm going to drop off all my paperwork to the Mt. Pleasant Schools so I can begin subbing. Yay. I'm not sure how I feel about subbing. I don't like how kids treat subs, but I want a job/s that revolves around teaching and what I actually went to school for, so I guess I'm just going to suck it up and let the kids give me hell.
The house is getting better. Our bedroom is basically done and looks nice. Our living room is just about done, just need to find a place for random boxes and other junk that's just lying around the edges. I wish I had more motivation to finish it all today, but I don't. It's just so much and it overwhelms and frustrates me, so I kinda give up.
I'm applying to grad school for the spring semester. I'm not really ready to jump back into the whole school routine, but I might as well take advantage of the credits I get from Rob teaching. UGH...I wish I was more excited, but I'm really not. I finally finished my BS in Ed just this past May, I'm ready for a break. I just hope that having the summer and this semester off is enough to get me eager to start again in January. We'll see...
