4 movies in 3 weeks! I'm back to my old self
Atonement: great...I'm glad it didn't turn out to be just another romantic period piece.
Cloverfield: I thought it was pretty darn awesome, action packed, Godzilla from the future. I am glad they decided to shoot it from the perspective of one of the characters. That made the movie for me...otherwise, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it so much.
There Will Be Blood: one word-AMAZING! although I wish I could have experienced a little more character development, especially from Paul Dano's character.
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly: so so beautiful, my favorite movie of all 4. A little difficult emotionally for me to watch, because my father had a stroke and for the first month of his life afterwards, he was just like Jean-Do. It put me in a really good place mentally for connecting with my father again. I mean, not only that but it was like many beautiful paintings from scene to scene. Music, dialogue, couldn't have been more appropriate.
