Hurrah, says I! I've found out that The Dresden Dolls are indeed coming north and have a gig in Edinburgh. Oh joy of joys. It's not till May, but hopefully I can get along (I should have some pennies saved by then, yesss.) The only nuisance is the bloody trains... why can't they just have a final train/bus at midnight? Why why? You'd think they'd try and make the effort to get people to use their facilities.
In even better news, I'm slowly starting to do away with my Christmas pennies. Look at the lush! I'm super happy, I can't wait till it arrives. I love handmade, sexy unique bits & bobs. I'm thinking that I'll gradually do away with all my gift money in this kind of way. I haven't bought anything for myself for ages (apart from v. boring essentials) so hurrmmm... I shall savour my selfishness.
Oh yeah, my film course. I actually booked in to do an evening course on British film, but ended up feeling so out of it this week that I didn't go. I feel much better now though, typically. But I suppose it's for the best, I just never know how things'll go. So, I think I'm back to contemplating an OU course which I can just do at home. And then maybe try and get into another Uni course in Spring (they have herbal medicine & Bach flower remedy courses then - fabulously interesting.)
I watched Whale Rider last night, and then what happens today? Whale spotted in central London; it was frockling in the Thames outside the Houses of Parliment. Strangest news story of the day or what?
