I really like the excerpt. So Anna is the mother, Werner is the BFF? Man, if my dead boyfriend's son showed up one day with angel wings, I'd probably think about converting too.

In the middle section, Werner and Anna are walking down the street "together"? I know that Anna's walking but I don't know what Werner's doing. If Werner was sitting, wouldn't you want software that made it look like Anna was sitting, too?
