GW Middle School Rocks District Orchestra Assessment
The George Washington Middle School Orchestra earned a Superior rating in the District X Orchestra Assessment on Saturday at Fairfax County's Edison High Schoo. The students played three pieces in their stage performance, including Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen and Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. They concluded with "Danse Bacchanale" from Saint-Saens' "Samson et Dalila." When the group concluded this piece, we noticed that the first person to stand up and applaud was one of the judges!
