Bookish Christmas Tree #8
Merry Christmas Eve! My day is filled with prepping vegetables, baking, cleaning, and wrapping. And I have come to the realization that I will not have time to construct my own Bookish Christmas Tree before the holiday. Maybe next year.
But here is one more tree made of books, and this one is a Presidential Christmas tree! You can even see the Presidential Seal on the cover of the blue book on top. This tree is in the East Garden Room of the White House, as part of this year's White House holiday decorations. Some friends of mine were there this week and saw it in person; I'm envious! The Obamas, of course, are not at the White House right now. They have gone home to Hawaii for the holiday. (Someone in Hawaii should make a Bookish Christmas Tree shaped like a palm tree.)
