Saturday Photo Hunt: REALLY
This week's theme for the Saturday Photo Hunt meme is REALLY. This one was open to many interpretations, enough so that my first perusal of photo files yielded nearly two dozen that could work. It didn't take me long to narrow it down to just this one.
I took this photo while riding down an escalator in the convention center in Montreal, but the futuristic architecture and the attire of the people both make me think I'm looking at a scene on a space station, or the set of a science fiction movie. But REALLY, I took this photo during the Worldcon science fiction convention.
Incidentally, I took another photo on that same trip down the escalator. Well, actually I took quite a few. But one of those other shots is one that I featured in a Saturday Photo Hunt blog post in April 2012, the one that won a 1st Place Award for Photography in both the Virginia Press Women and the National Federation of Press Women 2013 communication contests. I'll accept the award from the national organization next month in Salt Lake City.
