It's All Happening at the Zoo
While we were in Madison, Wisconsin, we visited the Henry Vilas Zoo. This very nice zoo shares a rare and much-appreciated trait with our own local zoo, the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.: Admission is FREE! Scattered around the zoo are animal statues, each one decorated by a different artist. Jon Morgan was determined to have his photo taken with every one of them, so I obliged him.
