Spam fritters
I'm not normally a big comics person, but this is awesome. I'm a sucker for anything post-apocalyptic, though, so that helps. And I'm not sure if you'd call it a zombie comic, but it certainly has that feel about it.
So today I bought Vertigo, plus a Buzzcocks best of, Ramones Mania and Yes, Virginia... by the Dresden Dolls. I are be mostly listening to the Buzzcocks so far, and seriously, I never realised how excellent they are. I mean, Ever Fallen in Love? is a wonderful, enduring, endlessly listenable track, but Lipstick is great too - I think these lyrics would be a great fic prompt: When you kiss me/ Does the lipstick on your lip stick on my face?/ Will you miss me?/ In your dreams does your lover have my face?
And then there's You Say You Don't Love Me, to which I'm also listening more than is probably healthy. I can't believe it took me this long to check them out properly.
Seriously, this post has no point, I'm just not sleeping.
