I just felt compelled to add three people to my flist based entirely on the fact that they listed 'paleoanthropology' as an interest (it's a passion of mine, but is fated to be nothing more than an avocation, to which I say bollocks).
I recommend that everybody read 'The Descent of Woman' by Elaine Morgan (not to be confused with the Ellen DeGeneres character, who... had an entirely different name). She is not a scientist, but the book is very engagingly written, and it more or less convinced me, anyway.
I really ought to be practising the piano, but I think I'm going to play on The Sims 2 for a while instead. Because I'm a useless eejit. Other evidence of my demotivation: I have an English lit exam on Friday and I haven't started re-reading the text yet. And it's a closed book exam. And I haven't read the book for almost a year.
