sigh. ive been attempting to write that interview paper for school. so far i have half a paragraph lol. i got out my book that has the complete works of edgar allan poe, and was reading through some of his poems. i'd read all of them before, and at the time i didn't like them as much as his stories. now that i read them again, though, i do like them. "Dreams" is good as is "Spirits of the Dead" and "Evening Star." i guess i could type one out. im sure if my mom hears me typing she'll think im working on that paper lmao. since im lazy ill type out the shortest one of the three i named.

Evening Star

T'was noontide of summer,
And mid-time of night;
And stars, in their orbits,
Shone pale, thro' the light
Of the brighter, cold moon,
'Mid planets her slaves,
Herself in the Heavens,
Her beam on the waves.
I gaz'd a while
On her cold simle;
