The past few two weeks had been practically sleepless. Heh, what did a god need with sleep anyway? Perhaps he’d been stepping out of line by irking so many upon his entrance… but there were times when it was so incredibly irresistible. Especially what with being introduced to so many unique talents and abilities. Everything was so… new

The Akatsuki member then suddenly teleported, straight from his spot to the side of Orochimaru. He would attempt to land a kick straight in that fluid jaw, perhaps break his entire face. Now wouldn't that be funny?
But any miss would go uncared for, as he'd quickly teleport to the exact spot he stood before, as if he hadn't moved at all. Almost like jumping, but faster!

"Let's try something a little more... advanced." The Sannin leaped back once more, making his way further into the trees, but still keeping a close eye on Tobi. He stopped, landing on the ground in front of a large oak tree. Letting out a short laugh, his eyes slipped shut and he began the summoning.
Suddenly, "he" was right behind Tobi. His arms extended outward, aiming to entangle his neck in a choke hold.

Tobi watched his kick knock Orochimaru forward and onto another branch. This spurred a high-pitched giggle to tumble out of the nin... suddenly cut short as he felt that familiar embrace around his neck.
".. Ack, this again?" Tobi coughed mildly before merely teleporting a few yards away, more toward the village. His heart raced, though his stance would still appear rather calm - it was Madara who was tensing, fear of just what Orochimaru was trying to do creeping into him. His nerves were on hair-trigger now.

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed slightly. Tobi was getting closer to the village. It wasn't like he was protective of it, but it would surely be a hassle to begin rebuilding once more. Knowing this klutz, if the battle were to shift into the village itself... there was no doubt that something would "break."
The Sannin let out a bored sigh, as if growing tired of something in particular. Which of course, he was. That accursed teleportation. He truly did hope that this skirmish would be a bit more fun, but if events continued to play out like this, he was going to have to waste his chakra on something a little more... drastic.
His double began bolting towards Tobi, whilst Orochimaru himself was bounding for the scene. He soared off the tree, landing a few yards away from Tobi. "Let's see you dodge this," he sneered, before using his chakra to execute a temporary paralysis.

His head turned to look at the original Orochimaru not far off just as the copy was about to strike. Tobi had the idea of merely sidestepping and letting the double blunder past him, until he was hit with the paralyzing jutsu.
His skinny body suddenly shook, knees buckling slightly as he fought with every inch of his strength to break the paralysis. Now, then, Orochimaru's double was able to tackle him or whatever the hell it was planning on doing; Sharingan eye slid over to drill into the original, with the resistance he put up there was a slight change in that eye, as if a newer power was shining through.

He now stood dangerously close to the other man, inches even. Slowly, he raised his hands up, reaching for the mask.
"Let's see who you really are."

That was enough to break the paralysis, and Tobi flung himself backwards, landing quite ungracefully a few meters away. He stood unsteadily for a moment as he attempted to regain control of his leg muscles, which had become incredibly rigid under the jutsu.
Now nothing was said. He merely stared at the ground for a moment, thinking.

The Sannin's eyes narrowed slightly, as he sneered over at the man. Useless. "How cowardly," he hissed letting out a bitter laugh. "You're so confident, but when it comes to your own identity..." Orochimaru didn't finished, he jumped upward and began gliding toward Tobi. Both arms shot (in their most overextended awkwardly abnormal way) out and his hands balled into fists, aiming for a strike.

The voice dropped in volume. "As I said before. This mask is tradition." A snort. Now as Orochimaru flew toward him, Tobi simply teleported behind the other man, aiming another kick, this time straight in the middle of the spine, trying to break it. Again he wouldn't stand still, for if the attack missed Tobi would just teleport to another location once more.

Suddenly, Tobi was behind him. Heh. He spun around, bracing himself for the kick. Of course, he still took it, but it knocked him back a yard or so. The Sannin managed to plant his feet on the ground, and practically skied backward, finally coming to a stop. Though, before he did, he faked a tumble to the ground, collapsing face first.
Gradually, he pushed himself upward, fumbling to his knees. Though now, it wasn't Tobi... but Deidara that gazed out at his attacker.
"Tobi... why?"
