So The Sopranos was fucking intense tonight. Tony almost died and the whole alternate reality situation wrapped up nicely. I usually don't like overly metaphor ladden tv but they did a really nice job of it. Since the Metaphor was building for two episodes it didn't seem forced and it was very dramatic and almost made me cry. He didn't die and he's out of the coma but is very vegatably. Silvio's a good guy but has asthma. Paulie and Vito are total dicks. AJ is so going to kill Junior. Or at least give it the old college try. Which will be the only thing college related about trying he's ever done.

Another Sopranos note. So most of the episode (aside from the alternate reality) took place in a hospital. I was thinking of how awesome it would be if Tony were in the Scrubs hospital. Like JD telling the family how to act around Tony and Elliot saying somthing weird around Carmella or somthing. Dr. Cox pissing off Paulie, The Janitor trying to get JD in trouble with the mob... In short, least likely yet BEST CROSSOVER EVER.

Onto Desperate Housewives. So as I'm sure most people know, Desperate Housewives has kind of been on its way out, quality wise. Tonight was not much better. Bre was drunk, Andrew was a sociopath, Susan is getting in trouble with her slapstick antics (they found an excuse to put her in a wheel chair and make her fall out and stuff... of course), Lynette is Lynette. So same old, none of which has been particularly interesting. And once again, very little housewive on housewive time. But, there are some things being set up which could possibly make the show good again. Well, only one thing. At the end of the episode, Caleb was waiting for Danielle in her room (yes, Danielle and Andrew in the same episode... now if we could just see them at the same time...) and things almost got violent. Now, we all know how Caleb is and if he killed Danielle I think that could be the spark the show needs to come back. But, I doubt the DH crew is ballsy enough to do that, but it would be fucking sweet. Also, I'd like to see Susan get back with Mike but it would be boring I guess. Who knows. And no Zach or Paul in this episode, who I tend to enjoy marginally more than a lot of the other bullshit.

scrubs, desperate housewives, best crossover ever, the sopranos, slapstick antics
