There are all sorts of reports about what the Buenos said to the Texas bullpen to get them all riled up -- some people in that section say that they didn't hear anything out of the ordinary; others say that they heard racial slurs. A link from the BPrimer discussion points to a Usenet post by a person who was in that section and heard Mr. Classact Bueno taunting Brocail about his stillborn child.
I'd been sort of neutral about the incident when it sounded like it was just the generic tasteless hecking -- ghostrunner and I have agreed to disagree about whether ignoring racial slurs is the right course of action. I think that there are certain contexts where you should ignore it; she is less a fan of the idea of turning the other cheek to stuff like that, but dude, when it gets to something like that? If Bueno did say that kind of stuff, I find it'd go a long way to morally excusing the reaction of the Texas players, even if, as some of the accounts indicate, Francisco didn't immediately hear the comments.
