Playlist: Ten Days of Perfect Tunes: A Chagall-Inspired Mix
To depart briefly from the icons I'll usually be posting, here's my first attempt at a mix for mixingmusic, inspired by the painting below.
Doing a little research on the painting I was given, I learned that it's a study called 'The Dance and the Circus' made for a mural decorating the Watergate Theatre in London. In this mix, I attempted both to capture the spirit and tone of the painting and the music it portrays, and to celebrate the power of performance art in all its forms. Hope you enjoy it!
