31 out of 32 ain't bad!

On September 8th I paid some dentist (okay, oral surgeon) $500 to remove my back molar. On September 9th I turned 24. Wow, I turned older and lost a tooth.

Go figure (knock on wood knock on wood knock on wood) that the only cavity I have in my mouth has to become a festering, painful, pus-filled abscess that required the removal of my tooth. I first went to an endodontist who pried apart the first root canal procedure to begin the second "re-treatment". After an hour of having my tooth drilled by instruments that sounded like the devil screaming the endodontist stopped, paused a second and then said "This isn't going to work". So...I had the damn tooth pulled.

That was the most interesting part about my 24th birthday (I'm 24 right? 2007-1983? Oh, God, where did the years go!?). On my 22nd birthday security burst into my dorm room and took all of my alcohol so comparitively this one was very low-key.

What else? I worked almost 50 hours this week, so I didn't feel bad at all when I went to Old Navy and bought a sweater. Work is sort of interesting. Unlike Hood, I actually get to touch the HPLC instruments. Someday I'll get around to thanking Dr. Bennett for stressing the importance of paying attention in Quant. and Instrumental. Which I totally didn't, and I totally hated that class, and I had to lie in my interview and say that it was my favorite class EVER. Oh, Irony.

I have church tomorrow. I'm going to bed now.
