(no subject)
Went to a Story of the Year concert last night!
So fucking kewl... of course it would have been better if the chick next to me wasn't pushing me so i was standing directly behind the one guy that was between me and the barricade... i don't think i would have minded but he was definately over 6 feet and all over the place which resulted in a shoulder in my eye one too many times...i punched him.... not hard... he didn't even feel it... but i was pissed! Grr... lol... i elbowed the girl that was pushing me because she kept elbowing me in the chest... ow! i did it hard too... she didn't notice! i am not usually that mean, but between those two i was getting real ticked off... then some guy came up and took my spot... i wouldn't have cared (because i was standing directly behind 6ft shoulder guy by this point) EXCEPT that when he moved forward he dug his nails into my side... you know the soft fleshy part that hurts when you poke it! yeah that part... haha...
it sounds like i am complaining a lot... but that wasn't the whole concert, that was just Funeral for a Friend's set... they were the third band and the last one before SOTY... Erin and i went through a lot to so we could stay in the front for SOTY, after all that we ended up moving... yeah... hmmmm... not kewl... BUT kewl stuff did happen....
He is Legend went on and they were AWESOME... their lead singer dances like me with a few weird tics added.... if you have ever seen me dance (when i am kidding around) it's pretty funny... sooo a guy doing that is crazy funny... i enjoyed it though... Anberlin was great... i got their sweatshirt... kickin! i already told you about Funeral for a Friend...eh.
Story of the Year were SUPER AWESOME! even from further away... they were all over the stage and being Amazing... and they brought out a plastic camel and a random manequin guy thing... odd... they also did a compilation of old kickin songs and that was fun too! the show ended after an encore... then we stood around and debated whether of not Erin should get the Story of the Year sweatshirt... first i told her..."don't get it if you don't REALLY want it" then i decided with all the fuss she as making over it she really must want it so i told her to get it... in the end i was probably no help at all because i changed my mind for her about as much as she changed her own mind. (she got the sweatshirt). i wanted a T-Shirt but they didn't have anymore... i was sad. but i was happy when i got a keychain and a sticker! YESSSS!
