College is...

Kind of unreal. More than I ever really thought it would be... I feel like I've grown as a person more over the past four days than I have over the past four years. I can't wait, though, to settle in and have classes and work so that I can turn into my same old workaholic self... To give you a clue as to my utter-socialness, the past two nights (without really being intoxicated), I haven't come home until 6am and 5am. I just love meeting and learning about these people. It's so new. But I'm still a big dork.

Today is my dad's birthday and Eva (girl across the hall)'s birthday as well. Sweet. Happy Birthday to them!

Registering for classes is going to be one hell of a big problem... Oh, here's my French placement story:

So, my score on the AP didn't put me into an actual class, so I had to take a placement exam to determine where I should go (I unfortunately have to forego German this year, or semester at least because the course I want to take coincides with a course I've already been registered for, and can't really change, by about 20 minutes on Mondays and Wednesdays). To get definite placement into Third-Year French, I had to score a 509 on the exam. And I scored a 507. So I begged the director of the French dept for placement into Third-Year French and she said I had to come see her for a "brief oral interview" today. Since I haven't really spoken in a couple of months, I'm going to be really rusty and she'll think I'm an idiot. Crap. TWO POINTS!

And in addition to my Econ-Poli Sci major, I think I want to math minor here... It's really easy and the math dept. seems like a good place. How weird. For me to minor in math that is.

Ahhh! There's so much going on, it's overwhelming!

what... stuff...
