Reunion dinner

Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner is a tradition with the Chinese people. But these days, just like Christmas, you find everyone getting into the celebrations and with the exception of Susan Low and Stephanie Ong the rest of us were Eurasians. But having been married to a half Chinese, I still follow the tradition of giving out two Mandarin oranges for good luck. We had a lovely steamboat spread of chicken, pork, fish balls, prawns, fresh veggie and a cooked dish of "money come" veggie (leaks). It was a nice gathering and we had a great evening. For dessert later, we had A Gloria's famous and delicious home-made chocolate cake.

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone! May the year of the pig bring good luck, peace, happiness, prosperity and abundance to one and all.
