(no subject)
1. I get to wear a headband in my hair for Pajama Game! I am so excited, I can't even tell you. I look like such a goody two-shoes. And what makes it even better, is that Ian is supposed to be the JD (Juvenile Delinquent, or as I like to think James Dean) of the cast. It's really cute because he's such a rebel and I'm such a prissy prude. Ha. Alliteration.
2. We got our amazing awe-inspiring flip ON OUR OWN. Not only that, but we have the flip into the splits. Those who aren't in the show (i.e. everyone except Mary Kate) won't know what the heck I'm talking about. But it's pretty cool, and I'm happy.
3. Tech went really well today. Yay! We have a weekend of "10 out of 12s" which means we're in the theatre for 12 hours and work for 10 hours with 2 meal breaks. So 12 hours down. 12 hours to go. And we had so much fun today playing mind puzzle games, and driving each other crazy with them. There was only one point when a particular comment made me really angry. But other than that, SO MUCH FUN. Our makeup/hair looks SO great and SO fifties. Everyone looks absolutely adorable. And we've really started to bond. I feel really close with everyone, especially my little MK, because we are together 24/7 this weekend (between being roommates, our 8,000 trips to Coffee Bean [go iced vanilla lattes coffee cake), and being in the theatre together all day.) I love her so! :)
4. Someone said something yesterday to me that really resonated, and also made me kind of sad. I wish I had something that I don't know if I do right now. I really need to reflect on some stuff. Sorry this is really ambiguous, but it's also really personal. Le sigh.
5. Crazy Boy: Stop bothering Mary Kate. She doesn't want a birthday present from you. Since she can't say it to you, I will help her vent her frustrations by posting it in my lifejournal.
6. It's weird to think that for the next 3 weeks, I will always have either a.) curly hair or b.) curlers in my hair. Quite the fashion statement. Anyway, I have to go now... I have to wash out the curls that are currently in my hair and then put it back in curlers for tomorrow. Ha.
