6 days left...
It's really how incredible this student teaching has consumed my life for the past three and a half months or so. It is going to be incredibly hard for me not to do this anymore. I don't think I am going to know what to do with myself. I think....well I will do all of the things that I havn't been able to do this whole time....like go out on week nights, play video games, have lunch with friends, sleep past 6:30, make stuff (I always have some sort of project that I am working on), get really into a book, watch TV without guilt...stuff like that. But then I think about how every minute of the day I will be thinking of what my kids are doing...it's going to just be so strange...
I found out today that NY teachers get paid soooo much more than NJ teachers....which I found interesting, especially since where I am in NJ one would think the teachers would get paid more....but nope! So just even more reason to take the NYS tests (yes...tests there are 3). Unfortunaltly, money does matter...
I have been invited to a "Pleasue Party" at the end of the month...should be interesting...if ur lucky there will be pictures ; )
I am going up to Jill's school on Sunday with my parents to help her move in some furniture. (she just moved into a house off campus--I'm totally jealous) I get to meet her boyfriend finally...I hope...they have been dating for a couple months now and I havn't met him yet.
well....now I'm off to eat some oatmeal before going off to the mailroom....growl....
