All in all everything in my life has been pretty peachy. Work is fine, being a fiance is wonderful and looking forward to the warmer weather has me in a good mood most of the time. I had a spectacular St. Patrick's Day, but unfortunatly the day after wasn't so great. Yes I did have a bit of a hangover but that quickly became unimportant when Jessica came into the room asking what happened to Grandpa because there was an ambulance here. Turns out he has a massive heart attack. He was brought to Good Sam where they performed an angioplasty and ended up being airvaced to Westchester Medical Center. He is scheduled to have a triple bypass on Thursday, which ironically is the 9 or 10 year aniversary of his wife passing. Knowing the stubborn old geezer he is, this will be a minor set back for him (we hope). He managed to fight off colon cancer a while back as well as being an alcoholic for many years. Patrick and I are going to go see him later today when he gets out of work. Apparently he is doing much better than yesterday but is still critical. All we can do is hope for the best and keep visiting him to give him strength. Hopefully the next post will be some good news! Until then....xoxoxoxo
