wow...um last weekend was the most amazing weekend of my life!

This is bridget's poem about it.

I am from GREENPORT!
I am from the train that never came
And the coach bus with no air conditioning.
I am from Flavor Ice and Oreo balls.
I am from intense dance parties that last till midnight
And pillow fights in the loft.
I am from "...We can't find Mike" and "The Question."
I am from Liz's dazzling creativity and wit--
"So guys...how many inches?" "I can't count that high." "You can't count to two?"
Ouch.
I am from "Nothing says 'I love you' like toe-stroking,"
From whispered conversations and Jess knowing exactly what I'm talking about.
I am from waking up before 9 on a Saturday,
And waiting until 10 to jump on Justin.
I am from "Do, marry, kill" and Emily was done FIVE TIMES.
I am from the sun on my face and the wind in my hair
As I watch Ini model his mother's hat and Emily's sunglasses.
I am from watching Sara lounge and Justin snorkel
After jumping off the boat into Peconic Bay.
I am from nineteen dollars worth of ice cream,
And "WARNING: SHOOTS FLAMING BALLS."
I am from making the guys exceedingly uncomfortable when four of us showered together
(in bathing suits! geez).
I am from throwing tennis balls over the house and waiting for them to appear again,
Just to fish them out of the bushes over and over.
I am from the "bonfire" and our own little patch of heaven.
I am from failed origami and burning swans,
From Chips Ahoy and throwing rocks.
I am from sleeping outside
And debating the existence of flying dolphins and "16 different-colored rainbow flashing shooting stars."
I am from that one perfect moment,
Seeing that shooting star and the awed silence that followed--
Broken, of course, by Jess: "Guys, I almost just peed myself, that was so awesome."
I am from waking up only to discover Ini had stolen half my pillow
And from trying to make myself comfortable without stealing Jess's.
I am from waking up at dawn for the sole purpose of moving to the basement,
Asking "Why must you do that at five in the morning?"
And then not waking up until lunchtime.
I am from Chris's phone falling on top of me as it vibrated,
Thinking someone had thrown it at me.
I am from playing asshole as soon as we woke up.
I am from running after the train when Frankie had to leave early,
From riding the carousel and making the loser sign at Mike and Ini.
I am from the misting poles, sitting on the bench, and the contented "aahhh"s.
I am from getting ice cream from the pedophile, And knowing that it means he likes feet.
I am from going into stores only because they were air conditioned,
From spending an hour in the store with the cool cards and taking pictures of them
Because as much as I wanted to buy them all,
It would've cost a fortune.
I am from "The Frisky Oyster," mad libs in the shade,
And Sara's hair blowing out the sunroof.
I am from the second attempt at a dance party
And having to accept the fact that it failed miserably.
I am from the resigned sighs as we packed,
From wishing one weekend could have lasted forever.
I am from the abruptness of the final goodbyes.
I am from the train with the technical difficulties,
From more mad libs and Mike giving me and Jess funny looks.
I am from wanting to burst into song
But too many people were around.
I am from 188 pictures and a thousand memories.
I am from The Gang.
I am from knowing that we own,
And that a summer weekend could not have possibly been better spent
Than it was in Greenport.
