Retribution is a dream I cant even begin to fathom I'm choking on these blurred memories of false happiness Its astounding how one could cause another so much pain without regrets So you are gone and you dont have a word to say to me Nothing for me to bounce around inside my head trying to understand your reasoning Is it brave to do what you've done Just to hurt someone and run Pretend it never happened Drink another drink Smoke another smoke Just forget the pain you caused and live on in your own personal darkness I tried to be a light in your life I tried to show that the sun can shine if you let it in But you turned it around and burned me inside and out Left me drenched in tears and dieing of thirst Rise and Fall with good times and bad I'll always love you Isnt that sad... I saw you on the street and I literally hid from you I'm so scared of you its almost humurous I'm petrified of the pain you have caused me and are capable of worsening...I'd do anything just to hear your pathetic attempt of an apology So sorry for ruining your life and tainting you forever I'm just damaged goods to the world praying that someone will see my light can still brighten someones day Just hold me thru the night and let me know that things can still be bright
