Having watched this weekend's football game again today (perhaps I'm a gutton for self-punishment?), let me just state that the officiating was even worse than I thought. In both directions. For example, in the first quarter, when they called back Julio's 40 yard catch on an illegal formation, the TV people CLEARLY showed that it was a completely legal formation. An on the very next play, where Coffee ran it all the way in, Antoine Caldwell got away with a RIDICULOUS hold. And in the second quarter when we had "offsetting" personal fouls, I counted FIVE punches thrown...four guys in blue, one in red. And they let Bama get away with a horsecollar tackle in the 3rd. Ridiculous! I'm not even whining in the "oh the refs tried to steal the game from us" because they were totally wrong in both directions. I don't even know which team got the advantage out of it, it was so bad. (Granted, not always. Julio's offensive pass interference was the right call, even if it was late and the official didn't throw the flag until after the UK bench shouted at him...which perhaps just reaffirms the fact that the officials sucked, since he wasn't going to call it on his own. But I digress.) I think UK played probably their best game of the year so far, and Alabama played one of their worst. I just wish the officials had let them PLAY. What is this, the Pac10? Oh and ps, when you watch the replay on CBSCS (CBS's 24/7 college sports network), every time they "go to Tim Brando in New York", they don't really go to Tim, and you get to hear Verne's crazy ramblings. It's pretty hilarious.

In other news, Percoset is my friend. And I managed to take a shower. Go me. Sonya left eeeearly this morning, so I'm chilling alone, finally assembling the anniversary invitations. Woo hoo.
