Over the years. You learn from your mistakes. You lose friendships that mean the most to you. You get your heart broken repeatedly. You lose yourself. And you find you again. New friendships appear out of abnormal and unusual circumstances. Often when you need them the most. The shoulder you sometimes cry on, is not the one you would expect. Counting on the wrong people is to be expected. You discover, over time, not all promises are meant to be broken. Just the ones that were said with a untrue heart. Sometimes it’s alright to give your all, and get nothing in return. Because that’s how you learn. That’s how you grow. That’s how you become who you are. You will get broken. You will break someone else. Its inevitable. Life can not be lived with out regrets or consequences. Ups and Downs. Its all a part of life. You learn that not everyone is what they put themselves off to be. Hypocrites are everywhere. People who contradict their words with their actions. People who use you just for a little while, until they are bored or satisfied with what they got. And then they drop you. And that’s ok. Because, who wants them in your life anyways? “friends” will be there, until you need them. Enemys are killed with kindness. Words may hurt you, but silence from the one you love, will completely break your heart in two. Love will always find away. God is always here. There is someone you can count on, and optimism is the only way to get what you want out of life. Happiness. Love. Satisfaction. And the peace of your heart and mind. One thing is for sure, never give up, never give in… and don’t wait until its too late.
