YES!!! YesyesyesyesyesyesYEEES!!!! Oh, so happy that you finally drew another Misha/Cas pic!! SO awesome, srsly!! His face, the background, the pose - AWEsome!! <3
Thanks a lot ^^ I don't know why, I instantly associated Castiel with the color blue and I knew that this time I was going to work with a blue palette.
That is just incredible. I love the set details and you did a great job with Misha's eyes. Even the original "awful" version looks amazing. I particularly like your attention to the light source in that one.
If you don't mind, I wanted to ask, what's the difference between Painter Essentials and Photoshop? I've only used Photoshop so far and I was wondering what Essentials could do that was different. Thanks :)
I am not a big fan of the "awful version". When I start to "experiment" new things with Painter, it's never a good sign ^^;;
Painter is very different from Photoshop. It creates what we call "natural painting" which means that the software imitates the texture and brush strokes of traditional medium like pastel, chalk, oil, watercolor in a much more realistic way than Photoshop. Look at my drawing, I used the watercolor tool a lot. Photoshop can't create these kind of effects (even if it imitates chalk perfectly).
It's awesome and it's not that expensive compared to Photoshop. I think that Painter is sold with the Wacom tablet for around 50€, 70€ top (I don't know in $). If you can have a try copy one day, don't hesitate to use it ^^
