On The Issue of Israeli Illegal Workers With Children
For those unfamiliar with the issue, there are about 2000 illegal workers in Israel, who are now about to be deported. A usual situation, but with one catch -- these people stayed illegally for years, and raised children, who were born here, went to school, speak Hebrew etc. Some people in our country believe that these kids should be granted Israeli citizenship and allowed to stay -- together with their parents. talashwrote a good summary of the situation here.
