The last couple of days have been rather good, but rather tiring. I've been ill since saturday with my IBS, and it was showing no let up yesterday, even though i had to go out that night.
I decided to go for a swim during the day (trying to achieve a personal goal of toning up arms and boobs) and i felt pretty ok - pretty ok meaning generally sleep and food deprived; the average for a student.
Feeling quite good about this personal effort of calisthenics, i got changed, showered and started energetically swimming up and down the rather small length of the pool. After about half an hour, i started feeling a tad faint and generally quite dead (i am rather fit) so i had to get out.
That evening i felt quiiite crappy and rather regretted my bout of fitness, so i sorted it out with a lovely hot bath.
The evening turned out to be pretty good! my tummy behaved and i was able to have a few drinkies :)
Myself and Samuel headed to Fire where we met all the people we haven't seen in way too long. It was so good to see everyone again and have a bit of a frolic.
Fire was shoddy as always, with the same loop of tracks that has been played there for the last 2 years, as well as the fantastic death trap of a dancefloor complete with shards of broken bottles, just incase you fall over ;)
At one point, i curiously sunk into the floor near the bar. Damn gloopy carpets.
None the less, it's a rendezvous for us uni goers, and i guess thats what it will always be.
When myself and sam got back to my house, we realised that i was rather more inebriated than initially thought. I spilt sugar everywhere and kept trying to beat up Samuel. I even forgot how to get into my front door. whoops.
Unfortunately even after being a tad drunk, i didnt sleep as i was worried about my sister who had been taken to hospital that night.
Apparently she's quite sick and they don't quite know what's wrong with her yet. They've done a biopsy and are now waiting for the results, so we're all pretty tense right now.
Luckily i have an awesome boyfriend and friends that have kept my chin up and made sure i was ok, and i am grateful for this.
I can't wait for my sister to get out of hospital, i'm sure she's gonna be fine.
