project runway season three.
the first challenge was to design a garment using materials that decorated the apartment (i.e. curtains, duvets, mattresses, stools, flowers, etc).
my god.

i decided weeks ago by watching PR3 commercials that the black thug would be one of my favorite designers. i was correct. he used coffee filters to make his dress and i absolutely LOVE it.
keith michael
he's a menswear designer. this is the first dress he's ever made. he also won the challenge! i would wear it in a heartbeat.
allison kelly
she's so cute, so funny. loving her. loving this dress. it looks like something i would make for myself if i had more talent and a better sewing machine.
bradley baumkirchner
his look for this challenge was, borrowing a term from michael kors, underwhelming. he used a rug and a duvet cover, if that's not completely obvious. however, the clothes that he showed in his bio video were crazy cute and super indie. i want them. i'm sure he'll get better as time progresses.
stacey estrella
she was voted out, but i actually dug this dress. totally goddess-like and the silhouette was very similar to keith's (i have a thing for high waists). and i thought the little undies she made were really sweet. i'd wear them! too bad the judges didn't like the sheerness (and it wasn't even that sheer, definitely not as sheer as wendy pepper's see-through dress at olympus fashion week during season one, but let's not get me started on wendy pepper...).
vincent libretti
this freak-ass should've gone after this challenge, no question. i can't stand him. his personality, his clothes, his nose that reminds me of dobby from 'harry potter'. why, oh why, in the name of tim gunn, is he still on this show?!
an honorable mention goes to robert best. i'm not going to mention the other designers because they seemed somewhat mediocre to me.
and i dislike malon breton despite any talent he may have because he seems very pretentious and his face looks melted.
i'm kind of disappointed though, because i don't see any personalities that could even compare to those of austin scarlett, jay mccaroll, nick verreos, andrae gonzalo, santino rice, and of course my future husband daniel vosovic. and i'm sad that there's no eye candy for me to look forward to every wednesday. but maybe that's a good thing because i'll focus more on the show instead of proclaiming, "awwww he's so cute" and "isn't he the nicest guy in the WORLD?!" every two minutes.
oh, and lastly, for those of you who watched "road to the runway" (the casting special), did wendy pepper look more attractive to you? did she have plastic surgery or something? it's weirding me out.
okay okay. i'm done. i'm so glad i have this show to obsess over again. i'm finna go sew!
