I am worth more at work than I thought! After checking how much my insurance has covered the Lyon & I I see that I don't really make 38+ K a year, I make more like 80K a year with all the health benefits. Just in the few months we have been here we have used more than $20K in coverage. I know for sure now that I made the right decision to take less hourly and more benefits. Now to just shine here so I can get a couple raises over the next couple years and I can get my retirement in better shape.
The house still stays unsold. I have to go over and clean. I guess we have a feline resident sneaking in that is leaving unsavory souveniers of various kind that don't "show well". The new realtor seems motivated though and has made a deal with someone to clean up the yard so it looks better. We really need it gone so we can move on to other things with our energy.
I am grateful for us having a warm place with a lovely view, our pets and each other. That in itself seems miraculous sometimes.
