I'm writing for garyanick's (gary ryan and nick's) music blog now.
It has motivated me to listen to a lot of new music for the first time since ~9th grade.

Some of the discoveries are mentionable, but even more awesome is the fact that many of them are not.
They rated tons of albums highly, as did lots of people, but I am glad to see flaws in lot of the stuff people put on the pedestal.
If music is to remain timeless, it can't be "outdone" so to speak every song, album, year.

Anyway, i mentioned i finished the martian chronicles, i liked it. Glad to have finished.
Working on Dandelion wine now, though i'll probably have to (thankfully) put it down until ~ May because i'm going to have to do a lot of reading for my warfare in ancient greece class.
I say thankfully because the diction is incredible. I think that if i read it in the summer when Ray Bradbury's borderline brilliant seasonal imagery is surrounding me that I'll be up for an orgasmic experience.

I'm listening to a song right now, which is awesome. It just picked up at around 6:30.
Mogwai- I Love You, I'm Going to Blow Up Your School.

Weird name, good song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ub8J5SSn8DA&feature=related

Anyway, im joining the FSAE team. Formula Student something Engineers.
They build an indie car.

My new roommate is quiet, respectful, rarely here, and was very friendly the two times we've talked. It's amazing to me how much better I'm doing here. I love listening to Silence. Hearing the subtleties in nothingness. Harmony, patience.
Things generally lacking on a college campus, especially in my old room.
I'm glad.

Words jinx things, especially words on here. So i'm not going to say im happy. I've felt good a couple of times lately though. It's nice.

I think sleeping this year is helping me out *a lot*.

Regardless, im going to finish this off with a quote on the bookmark i got from stuyvesant plaza, then go listen to more musix.

"Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing." Harper Lee

I've had fun reading lately. Probs mabes defs for the same reason as Harper Lee
