Given the recent news about Joanna Russ, this morning I picked off the shelf her novel We Who Are About To..., partly because of its theme of dying with dignity. It would seem that around the same time I was beginning it, her own life was ending on the other side of the Atlantic. I'm feeling a little spooked. Rest In Peace.
