I suppose if you run a website about web browsers and you're doing a post on Opera, you're showing you can think outside the box a little by
illustrating it with a photo of Sydney Opera House. It's a photo I took in January 2007 of a crowd of people on the steps watching the Australian Open on a big screen off to the right. The evening light levels in this photo are lovely.
I see from this photo's comments at Flickr that this was also a pic requested by that publisher in Hong Kong, the ones who initially hinted at money but who I
turned down; plus, apropos of my
recent post about how do you prefer to address people via the internet, I see they also started their messages with a cringingly mangled "Hey Dear", even when my real name is there for all to see.
