This is actually one of my favourite compositions of last year, but it wasn't included in my regular '10 best photos' because I only uploaded it in December after taking another look at it. It was meant as a simple candid shot of the guy in the foreground, but on closer inspection a total of four people can be seen, and all inside boxes. It's an unusually geometric shot - I found that that line down the centre is precisely down the centre, and is also perfectly vertical, and there's no photoshopping done at all other than to make it b/w. My art college photography teacher was always shouting at me to "Hold the bloody camera straight!!", advice which I still consciously reject, but on this occasion I must have been channeling him. This one's for you, Malcolm Hatton.
