Sorry about keeping you in suspense, everyone... I wanted to tell people in person, but to those who I couldn't:

Dear Peter:

Congratulations! I am writing you with official notification that your audition for entrance to the School of Music was successful! We have recommended to the Admissions Office that you be admitted to the Bachelor of Arts in Music program. Of course, admission to the University depends on whether you meet the academic requirements of the University.

blah, blah blah.

I look forward to seeing you in September of 2005!

Sincerely,

Barbara A. Jordan
Sr. Admin. Secretary

So I was pretty excited about that... but it doesn't matter anymore, because I am not going to go. Like it says, I have to meet academic requirements of the University. My report card today says I have a 35 in Global History. These are the marks that I have to send away to Acadia, and they won't let me in with that, because as it stands I don't meet graduation requirements without it.

So yet again, my dreams have been crushed.

So thanks to everyone who convinced me not to drop out of high school, and who encouraged me to go for this, and all that jazz. I really thought I could do it. Oh well.. back to having no life, I guess. It was good while it lasted, even if it did only last for less than a day. I just wish this huge disapointment hadn't come the day after my huge excitement. The first time I've been excited in a long time. Serves me right for trying to be happy. From now on, I'm not doing anything that will make me happy, because for everything that makes me happy, something bad happens.
